About NiceBoxes Scandinavia AB

Our history

Grycksbo Box & Print was founded in 1936 in Grycksbo, Dalarna in Sweden. The company was acquired by the current owner in 2009 and an e-commerce solution was developed to meet the demands of commercial cardboard boxes from small and medium-sized businesses. In 2019, the innovative and award-winning packaging company JakeBox AB was acquired, and the company name was changed to NiceBoxes Scandinavia AB.

Our business and vision

NiceBoxes’ business idea is to provide packaging solutions and accessories for a wide range of products and purposes. Our boxes are suited for e.g. chocolates, pralines, advent calendars, gift bags, gift cards, jewelry, cosmetics, perfume and spirits. Our standard packages are in stock and can be delivered within a few days within EU. We also offer customized cardboard boxes in size, shape, print and design as well as a wide range of adapted accessories to enhance functionality and elegance of our customers products.

The environment and producing eco-friendly products are important issues for our business. We have a strong ambition to minimize the use of plastic and ensure that our products do not affect the climate. NiceBoxes is affiliated with Repa, the industry’s system for recycling packaging.

Organization

Our head office is located in Stockholm. Production facilities are located in Sweden and Europe, mainly in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovenia. A reseller network outside Sweden is also expanding, primarily in Germany.

Executives

Peter Sandström - CEO

Peter has many years of experience in several key positions within the graphic industry. As a purchaser, project manager, and salesperson.

Lennart Myrlöv - Chairman of the Board

Lennart has a long career as CEO in several medium-sized companies, with responsibilities in sales, logistics, and finance. Lennart is passionate about developing NiceBoxes into an efficient packaging company for chocolate and confectionery in the European market.

Jakob Skarin - Marketing and Development

Jakob was previously CEO at JakeBox AB. He is an award-winning designer and innovator with several international patents and clients such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Telia, IKEA, Vingresor, Marks & Spencer, and the Swedish Government. He also has a previous career as Art Director and Project Manager at an advertising agency. Jakob is passionate about finding smart solutions to challenging packaging problems, creating packaging that stands out from the crowd, and highligts the products.
